Join us at the first Equity @ ACU Symposium as we hear from leading experts and our ACU colleagues to demonstrate that at ACU, equity is everyone’s business.

Hosted over two days on the 12th–13th of October 2022, the Equity @ ACU Symposium will explore equity, inclusion and widening participation in higher education through engaging workshops and keynote speakers, including:

 

• Dylan Alcott AOM, 2022 Australian of the Year, Disability Advocate, Philanthropist, Paralympian, and Sporting Champion

• Professor Penny Jane Burke, Global Innovation Chair of Equity and Director of the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education (CEEHE), University of Newcastle

• Professor Maria Raciti, Director of the Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre, University of Sunshine Coast

 

Attendees will be given the unique opportunity to share practice, learn about emerging ideas and approaches, and explore cultural and structural change for future impact.
